Principal Investigator
Dr. Kanak Roy
Kanak Roy joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 2020. He received his M.Sc. degree from IIT Kharagpur and Ph.D. from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, all in chemistry, followed by postdoctoral appointments at ETH Zurich, Switzerland and at Diamond Light Source, United Kingdom. He has research experiences of in situ photoelectron spectroscopy in laboratory and in synchrotron beamlines. His interests focus on the studies of heterogeneous gas-solid catalytic reactions using in situ/operando spectroscopy.
